Dennys Fadhil is a Bali-based artist from Jakarta. His works depict how he feels about himself and his surroundings. Though presented in bright colors and bold lines, the messages behind his works are not joyous. He believes that expressing anger, pain, and sadness does not necessarily translate to dark colors and gruesome images. This juxtaposition between the image he depicts and the story behind the image was also made to remind us that not everything that looks bright and colorful acts as the way it looks.
